               Reading: -Child reads aloud 5-10 min/day

                                       *While listening to your child read aloud,
                                        keep a notepad to jot down what
                                        needs to be worked on. During a different
                                        part of the school day, review the concept
                                        demonstrating on the chalkboard.

                                       *If your child likes to read, you may
                                        assign silent reading as well. If he
                                        doesn't like to read, do not assign
                                        silent reading yet.

Spelling: Lesson 13

Phonics: 1 or 2 pp. per day until finished
