Unfortunately, this book just went out of print.  You may want to check the shelves of your local bookstore to see if they still have a copy.  This wonderful volume contains 50 fun and useful crafts illustrating scientific concepts.   Well worth searching for!

Another of the high-interest "I Wonder Why" series, each topic is presented through an interesting question followed by a simple but thorough explanation.  One thing I especially like about this series are the excellent illustrations.  Some are realistic, others are wacky cartoon figures, but all illustrate a point and the pages never seem to become cluttered.
