"Create-your-own-curriculum" guide for History:
*The C-Y-O-C pages are still under construction, so some of the links may not work.
  1.  Our history selections are divided into (4) main topics:

                     Group A- Ancient History
                     Group B- Medieval History
                     Group C- Renaissance/Reformation History
                     Group D- Modern History

  2.  Select  a topic from above.

1.  Choose a 'spine' book.
                    2.  Choose a few supplemental books that coincide with your area of study.
Some of the supplemental selections are more "serious" than
others.  You may want to choose a few "fun" ones to be used as
                        readers.

  3.  Also, select a book covering an aspect of American civics from our 5th group.

                   Group E- American Civics

  4.  Combine your children's studies when possible.
Many books are appropriate for a wide age range.  Reading books aloud
will allow a younger child exposure to literature he can understand, but
cannot read.  Supplement an older child's studies with a few harder
selections to be read on his own.

4.  We have tried to keep our lists short even though there are a lot of 'living' history
books in print.  Instead of listing a whole slew of books all covering the same
topic, we've tried to weed through them for you and offer only what we
               consider the best.
