"Create-your-own-curriculum" guide for Science:

  1.  Our science selections are divided into groups (see below).     

  2.  For well-rounded studies, we suggest that each year the student study one
              topic in each group.  As you will notice, birds will be studied every year. 
(If
              this is the first year of bird watching, we suggest that one or more of the other groups
              be skipped in order to allow this skill to develop.) 
You may want to reserve the
              "hard science" group for winter study when it is more difficult to go outside.
